Jerk Gravy Recipe

How to make a delicious Jerk Gravy. This sauce traditionally goes with jerk chicken, but it’s so good you can put it all your food, including beef, fish, vegetables, potatoes, rice, or jackfruit.


  • 100g Jerk sauce (1 x 123Jerk! package)
  • Half of each red, green and yellow bell pepper (125g total)
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 onion (red or white)
  • Coconut oil, vegetable oil or butter (1tbs)
  • Water 300 ml (add extra water if too spicy)

1. Sauté Vegetables

Sauté the vegetables in coconut oil, vegetable oil or butter in a saucepan. Tip: add onions for extra flavour.

2. Pour Water

Pour 300 ml water into a saucepan and bring to a boil.

3. Add Jerk

Add the Jerk Sauce then whisk in the saucepan. Simmer until reduced. Serve and enjoy 🙂
